Upon completion of her Bachelor’s degree at FH Vorarlberg in 2008, Nina Fischer gained experience at Austrian design studio AM Gestalten and advertising agency Zeughaus. After receiving her Master’s degree at FHNW Basel in 2011 she continued to freelance for AM Gestalten and moved to Sydney, Australia. She there created her own endavour with Ink Paper Rock, specialising in wedding stationery, whilst also freelancing for Australian creative agency End of Work. Since 2016 Nina Fischer is working at advertising agency Weber, Mathis + Freunde in Austria.
Nina Fischer is working for big and small brands, creating experiences through bold storytelling and clean typography. She is a strong believer that details are not only part of design, but that they make the design. Design therefore does not only has to look nice, inform and entertain, it has to be user centred and accessible to be able reach those goals.
Nina Fischer’s key expertise lies in editorial design. She designs books, magazines, annual reports, brand manuals and corporate broshures. She also has experience in directing photo shoots, event planning and copywriting. Whilst living in Sydney, Australia she has been writing for her own blog Australien – No worries. Currently she also writes articles related to creativity and design. Read some examples here and here.
